Loop Ear Plugs, Engage Plus
Protect Your Ears With High Fidelity Earplugs. Loop Earplugs Is Your Relaxation Response. Loop Does Not Block Sound, But Filters It. Music And Speech Remain Clear, Just Less Loud.
TWB personal review: I bought the Loop Engage Plus because I needed something to dampen the sound of a busy two-kid household and prevent overwhelm while not shutting the world out completely or making my family feel like I was trying to ignore them. I especially love to use these when I’m the passenger in a car with my family and where my overwhelm gets triggered the fastest.

The Timer Timer, Mod home edition
For anyone who wants to measure and manage time more effectively, Time Timer® is an innovative visual timer designed to “show” the passage of time through the use of a patented red disk that disappears as time elapses. The Time Timer’s visual depiction of time remaining provides stress-free time management at work, school and home to make every moment count.
TWB personal review: ADHDer’s, myself included, generally have an underdeveloped sense of time, so being able to physically see the time elapse has been an absolute game changer in my daily life. I use this to also help my kids and family get out the door by using the whiteboard accessory that works with The Time Timer mod - I’ll write down the 3 steps we need to take to get out of the house, show my kids the steps and have one of them start the timer. It helps them have a sense of control and keeps us all on track!

Brain.fm
Brain.fm is science-backed functional music made for your brain and supports you transitioning into the brain state that you’re looking for. It’s backed by science and affects you differently than any other music. Brain.fm is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for their work in supporting ADHD.
TWB personal review: Brain.fm just makes my brain happy. Whether I need to focus on some deep work like writing a blog post, or stay present in lighter work like writing client notes, the different focus modes and timer feature both keep me on track. I also use the wind down mode in “sleep” to help shift my brain into bedtime readiness.

Calm Strips
Calm Strips are reusable textured sensory stickers designed to help regulate restless energy and increase focus. They provide a cool and convenient way to manage sensory needs; whether you’re simply touching, scratching, or tracing, the textured surface, or utilizing one of their interactive grounding / breathing designs.
TWB personal review: I absolutely love these things. When I learned about them, I thought to myself, damn, why didn’t I think of that?! They’re so simple and effective. I have the Box Breathing sticker on the back of my phone to help me in times where I need to a moment to connect my brain and body for a minute. It also helps me reframe my phone as helpful tool, rather than a distraction in some situations. My son also has the Cosmic Cat sticker with the Rainbow Carry Tag on his backpack for when he needs to calm his anxiety on the school bus.
